As a young child growing up in Ramsey, Minnesota, Tommy Steffen was drawn to the outdoors and the beauty of nature. He began exploring the Rum River at an early age, and his love for fishing soon took hold. As he spent more and more time on the river, he became captivated by the smallmouth bass, one of the most challenging freshwater fish in Minnesota.

Tommy's passion for fishing continued to grow throughout his childhood and into his teenage years. He spent countless hours on the river, learning every nook and cranny and developing a deep understanding of the fish he sought. Over time, he became an expert in catching smallies, using a variety of techniques and strategies to outsmart these elusive fish.

Now a Senior at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Tommy has decided to turn his passion into a profession. Started his own guide service in 2021, he takes clients on a unique and unforgettable fishing adventure along different stretches of river in MN. Tommy's expertise and knowledge of the river are unparalleled, and he takes great pride in sharing his skills with others.

When he's not guiding clients or fishing for himself, Tommy enjoys exploring the great outdoors, hunting for turkey, deer, and pheasant. He also loves playing golf, basketball, and soccer, and he is always up for a new challenge or adventure.
